France’s third largest wholesale market by tonnage of fruit and vegetables sold, and the largest by number of producers; it is the main outlet for the food industry and horticultural activity of the Midi Pyrenées region.
24 hours a day, all year round, 150 companies, 400 producers and more than 6000 subscribing dealers work together to bring this local produce to your local stores, open air markets and restaurants.

On the programme:

  1. The fruit and vegetable wholesaler’s hall, also known as “la Chenille” (the Caterpillar),
  2. 21,000 m2 of newly created spaces for fruits-growers, market gardeners and tree nurseries,
  3. the new space for horticulturist wholesalers with 6,000 m2 of flowers, plants and shrubs.

  • Valid ID required : EU nationals: passport or ID card / non-EU: passport. Driving license or residence permit will not be accepted as they are not considered as a proof of identity in France.
  • Guided tours for individuals and groups
  • Guided tours last 90 minutes
  • 5 days a week, closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays
  • Certain parts of the tour are in refrigerated areas; please take warm clothing
  • the number plate will be asked
