Situated in the centre of the city along the Garonne, the EDF Bazacle Complex offers the public diverse experiences:

  • Guided tours of the active hydroelectric plant.


Come to admire this unusual location full of history and animations for all, free of charge and open all year round (closed Mondays).

During guided-tours, you will :

  • Discover the Bazacle’s history : from mills to the present
  • Feel the heartbeat of an hydroelectric plant generators still in action
  • Meet the river Garonne and its inhabitants

From Tuesday to Sunday :

  • November to April: 11am till 6pm
  • May to October: 11am till 7pm
Closed on Mondays, 1st January, 1st May and 25th December
 

PREPARE YOUR VISIT

The Bazacle self-tour is free of charge and available during opening hours without prior booking

The guided-tour is also free of charge and available :

  • 4pm on wednesdays
  • 2pm and 4pm on saturdays
  • 4pm on sundays
Individual or group guided visits are possible for people suffering of visual, hearing or mental disability
